TeniPuri OC- Miya

Miiiiiyaaaa-chaaaaaan~ <3 ...... Ahem! Arai Miya, she and Ayu were the first two Prince of Tennis OCs I ever made. Kind of. The actual first OC I ever made was kind of a mix between Ayu and Miya. I scrapped her (With great prejudice) a long time ago, and after some thought the ideas for both Ayu and Miya were born from that character. Because of that I decided that Ayu and Miya were childhood friends and are still quite close. =w= Strangely enough Miya hasn't really changed much in appearance since the day I made her. Ayu did a little bit.

Miya is a 3nd year student at Seigaku and member of the girls tennis team. She plays in both singles and doubles, but is more suited for doubles due to her lack of physical power and unlikelihood of going on the offensive.

She's generally mild mannered and cheerful, but gets easily depressed. She is smart, but is a little dense and doesn't often seem to notice when she's being teased. She's fairly energetic but doesn't have the stamina to back it up, so she gets worn out easily. If something goes wrong she's usually the one to figure out a clever way to fix it, she's very resourceful. She worries more about other people than she should and often gets lost in thought because of it, this has caused her to have a reputation as someone who spaces out a lot.

She has a very polite way of speaking, she is especially very respectful towards upperclassmen and adults. She is quite graceful and has very good balance. This has caused those around her to give her the nickname “Oujo-sama” which means a civilized lady or the daughter of a high class family. This is usually only used in teasing; but on the girl’s tennis team she is known as the "Lady of the Courts" or "Court no Oujo-sama" due to her elegant play style and ability to make difficult shots look as if even a child could do them.
